Latin Name:  Mulsantina picta (Randall, 1838)
                        (R. Bercha, det.)

Length:  3.3 to 5.3 mm

Range: Southern Alberta

Habitat:  Forested Areas

Time of year seen:  Summer (Additional Sightings)

Diet: Aphids and adelgids

Other: The Painted Ladybug is a widespread species found over much of North America.  These ladybugs are found in forest areas with conifers.
