The Two-spot Ladybug is one of the more common native Alberta ladybug species.  Although it is called the "Two-spot" Ladybug its coloration is variable and can take a number of forms.  These include but are not limited to:

1) Two large black spots on a red background.
2) Four small black spots on a red background.
3) Four black bands on a red background.
