Length:  5 mm or less

Range: Throughout Alberta

Habitat: Moist Shady places and house plants

Time of year seen:  Summer outside, winter indoors

Larva's Diet: Fungi, plant roots, decaying vegetation 

This D.W. Fungus Gnat is about 2mm long
